Paul Wyett

Singer-songwriter Paul Wyett was born on 25 June 1947 in Burnham Market, North West Norfolk, England.

He started playing guitar at fifteen years of age and it wasn't long before he could be heard playing his own compositions in Folk and Blues clubs in the Norfolk area.

In 1968 Paul moved down to London and became a part of London's singer-songwriter scene and it was here that he was introduced to the sound of the open tuned guitar from the playing of such people as Nick Drake, Davy Graham and Mike Chapmann.

This was to have a lasting impression of his guitar style.

Paul left England for Germany in 1975 ad could soon be found working in Clubs and during this time recorded two albums of his own material for the Areola label.

"Blue Wine" - another album of Pauls own songs was recorded in 1987.

At present Paul can be found playing solo gigs and adding his distinctive guitar, vocal and harmonic sound to various studio recordings in and around Munich area.
